Referral partners
We handle the housing money so you can keep doing your work.
If you work at a shelter, a family justice center, a legal aid organization, or anywhere else survivors come for help, you already know where clients get stuck. We built this to take one specific problem off your list.
What we fund
- Deposits, first and last month's rent
- Application and utility fees
- Arrears blocking a lease
- Moving costs and storage
- Emergency lodging
- Lock changes and door security
- Essential furnishings
- Transportation
One form. Payment goes directly to the landlord, utility, or vendor.
How referrals work
Your written referral is sufficient verification.
We will not ask your client to produce a police report, a restraining order, or documentation of what happened to them.
We will not ask them to retell their story to us.
What we will not do
We will not take over your case, contact your client outside the preferences they set, contact their employer or landlord without permission, or add them to any shared database. We do not do crisis work, safety planning, or clinical services, and we will route anything of that nature back to you or to an appropriate provider.
What we need from you
The referral form, your client's consent to be contacted, and anything we should know about safety: contact restrictions, areas to avoid, anyone who should not be contacted.
